Weber State University is located at the base of Mount Ogden. From the upper end of campus the roofs of the many buildings of Weber State are highly visible. The asphalt roofs are all covered with red volcanic rock to help create the unified and pleasing look that has won awards for the university.
They wanted to replace failing roofs with a membrane roofing system, however there was not a membrane roof color available that would maintain the unified beauty of their campus.
